It’s Your Ride, It’s Your Choice
The new Chevy Tahoe comes in one of six trim levels, all offering exciting and different combinations of options for you to choose from, making sure that your Tahoe is exactly the SUV you need for your life.
Here, we’ll cover some of the different options that come at each trim level, from the exciting LS to the adventure machine Z71 to the uber-luxurious High Country. Let’s take a look!
LS
The LS is the Tahoe’s base package, offering a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain powered by a direct injection5.3-liter V8 that makes 355-horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It sits high on eighteen-inch wheels that help the Premium Smooth Ride suspension package absorb just about anything the road can throw at you. It also features Chevy’s Infotainment 3 Plus system, all available through a huge 10.2-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and WiFi capabilities.
LT
The LT trim package features all of the above while sporting a crystal-clear, nine-speaker Bose stereo system through which you can pump just about anything. It also boasts a leather interior with both front captains chairs featuring in-seat heating and ten-way adjustability, and, for safety’s sake, the enhanced Driver Alert Package along with a fully programmable power liftgate.
RST
The first thing you’ll notice about the RST is the massive twenty-two-inch wheels these Tahoes sit on. Climb in and you’ll see the very attractive accent stitching, which adorns the jet black interior with Victory Red stitched accents. And with a monochromatic black grille with ice-black accents and matte black, roof-mounted side rails, this is perhaps the coolest looking factory Tahoe ever imagined.
Z71
Stepping up to the Z71 is where you’ll find the most action-ready Tahoe, with 4WD and all-terrain tires wrapping twenty-inch aluminum wheels. And thanks to a front-end skid plate, recovery hooks, a rugged front fascia, and tubular assist bars, it’s clear the Z71 is ready to get rough and rugged.
Premier
The Premier trim package is exactly what it sounds like. That is a high-minded, comfort-first Tahoe that puts a premium on cruising in style. Chrome accents are everywhere as is a massive multicolor driver information center, polished aluminum wheels, perforated (and heated) leather-appointed seats, a power-folding third-row bench, and a heated steering wheel. It also sports an unreal ten-speaker Bose surround sound system with CenterPoint technology.
High Country
The High Country Tahoe features the brand’s most exciting and powerful powerplant in a 6.2-liter, direct-injection V8 that makes 420 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque. It also features massive twenty-two-inch sterling silver premium painted wheels with chrome inserts, a 15-inch multi-color heads-up display, high-definition surround vision, and signature High Country grille, sill plates, and interior stitching. All of this adds up to one of the most urbane and classy SUVs ever built.
